En Route: From the City of Culture to the City of Light

Marseille

From Provence to Paris

Keep up-to-date with my travels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as I fly to France today for a week as a guest on a media trip. New adventures and experiences await as I visit Marseille in the south of France for the very first time. Dubbed the European Capital of Culture in 2013, Marseille is a Mediteranean port city in Provence. I’ll be visiting art galleries, trying regional cuisine, visiting nearby villages and learning about Marseille straight from the locals.

Following Marseille, I fly to Paris to visit the city’s newest haunts. I was there back in 2012 for only two days–this time I’ll be visiting new areas and places I have not yet seen.

Stay tuned for new curated travel content coming in July!

  1. Lol, I just saw this this morning, and ietmdiamely wanted to email it to Tija and then leave a comment. She obviously got to it first! Congrats to both of you, that is super exciting!! From what I’ve read, it seems like this has been an incredibly long process for you two, I’m _so_ happy that it came together with an invitation! What are your job positions?Oh! And thanks for talking about what all is actually in the packet. I’ve been wondering what that brick of an invitation could possibly contain.
